“Ahir es va morir la besàvia, l’àvia també s’ha de morir, la mort de la mare es prepara, i tu more’t pels teus fills.” – Paul Riba.

Janne Eraker – Shake, rattle and roll
Janne (Norway/Germany) is a dance artist based in Rotterdam. She studied dance at School for Contemporary Dance in Oslo, Codarts in Rotterdam and Dance New Amsterdam in New York. In her work she started out with modern dance, focusing on the use of light effects and illusions. In the last years she switched to mainly working with tap-dance. As a result of her one week residency at Random Collision, Janne wants to research new possibilities of both the visual and auditive expression of tap-dance, introducing it in a contemporary and new light.

CCCompass – RADAR
CCCompass (the Netherlands) is a collective founded by the two dance makers/performers Eline van Ark and Barbara Ebner. Since their graduation in 2010 at the ArtEZ School of Dance in Arnhem, they started several collaborative initiatives in the area of movement and artistic (dance) research, like CLOUD, CCCompass and LABscape. RADAR is a performance based on an ongoing dance research about sound, listening and the connection with the body. The space comes alive by the two dancers, their bodies form the interactive map of the sounds that are present in the room. As a spectator you are the essential part and yet the unknown variable in this world of sounds.
