Osnat Kelner & Ariel Cohen – A piece of work – in process
Osnat Kelner and Ariel Cohen (Israel) are the third choreographers in residency at Random Collision as part of this season’s Trilogy Project. They are working in the studio for six weeks and will prese…nt their piece in the Trilogy Project performances in beginning of May. For this presentation Ariel and Osnat will share their process methods, ideology and artistic eating habits. After a few weeks of work they want to see how an audience can support and contribute to their creation process. They will be assisted by video projection and four lovely ladies; Angela Herenda (Croatia), Evelyne Rossie (Belgium), Rozemarijn de Neve (the Netherlands) and Stephanie Dufresne (Ireland).
Duo Diesel – Fijn Stof (Particular Matter)
Duo Diesel (The Netherlands) consists of acrobat Tonny Mulder and juggler Marco Bonisimo. They both have been running around at the Santelli Circus in Groningen for years. Last year they decided to take the opportunity and unite to create the new collaborative performance Fijn Stof (Particulate Matter). The show is now in its final phase and Marco and Tonny would be very interested in getting constructive feedback from an audience. Fijn Stof is about lightness and being able to float. With juggling, acrobatics, live music, dance and illusions this performance is by far a hand full. And by the way, it’s ok to laugh!
Random Collision (International) – Seriously! a Random Collision
Random Collision is a collective of choreographers founded by director Kirsten Krans and resident choreographer Edan Gorlicki. Together they experience and observe the creative development of all the artists passing through Random Collision. One thing that sticks out in choreography, dance and movement research is the magic of improvisation. Kirsten and Edan would like to expose this interesting and important method used by many choreographers in their creation process. This is why they have decided on curating a special improvisation performance and raising an open discussion with the artists participating and the audience about what happened and where it could go. This presentation is a way for Random Collision to show to the audience the first steps in creation process.
