People sometimes emerge as leaders because of the way they behave. They have charisma, a clear presence, or a natural gift to connect with their followers. But what about their behavior makes them a good leader?
In this workshop we answer this question from a social psychological perspective. However, the focus of this workshop is not on theory, but on experiencing what leadership means in practice. Together with a professional choreographer we explore, by means of movement, posture and expression, how a good leader behaves. How does it feel to lead or follow, how do group dynamics change under different leadership styles, and what happens in groups without a leader?
Random Collision developed this workshop is collaboration with social psychologists of the University of Groningen.
